Hello again ocean explorers! You may recall that just earlier, we shared some early sneak peeks for our main character concepts… Well, it’s now time for those visions to come to fruition!

At this stage in our Creation Period, our Sprite Artists have fully fleshed out the artwork for our visual novel’s major characters, including the main love interests. At present, we are actually well on our way to finalizing artwork for all of our minor characters, too! Our writers are finalizing their scripts, and our background/CG artists are hard at work visualizing Foleri’s unique environments and key story moments.

Today, we’ll be showing off the final designs for each major character. Though you might notice that all is not what it seems with some of these lovely cast members…

Snatched from aboard your sailing vessel during a stormy night, you believe the worst that could happen to you is a painful drowning. Instead, you wake up on the ocean floor, in a land you never could have imagined.

As one of your first encounters in Foleri, Lord Stura effortlessly commands a room. He should, as the ruling lord presiding over the sector of Foleri you find yourself in. Stura becomes a fast friend and confidante as you face your dire fate.

Claudia: the Fishing Captain

Our fierce fishing captain is the first of the main routes that we’ll introduce today! She works tirelessly to feed the hungry people of Foleri, bringing back plentiful bounties from the depths. However, she’s not the only one lurking at the top of the food chain…

Emrys: the Hopeful Cleric

The next route we’ll introduce is our young cleric, Emrys! For many in Foleri, the chance to serve the god Kaegler directly is a dream come true. However, there’s something fishy going on in the Church, and it seems further nightmares await.

Liras: the Heretic Scientist

Coming up next is our very own sharp-witted scientist, Liras. He serves Foleri as a distinguished professor, and yet his more… eclectic theories have won him little support among the scholars. It matters not; nothing matters more than the truth, even if your mind breaks struggling to perceive it.

Upon another road to ruin is Luka’s route, as he is the very mouthpiece of a god, and the one who doomed you in the first place. His strange power might prove an asset to you, or your downfall.

Yorath: the Long Arm

The Long Arms are treasure hunters, pure and simple. They bring back shiny finds to serve as offerings to Kaegler, largely viewed as holy and important work. However, Yorath, the star of the final route we’ll introduce today, knows these garbled excuses are mere hypocrisy. Even so, they’ll leave no stone unturned to find their next adventure. No one… no one… will stand in their way.
